Hey there! I’m Spencer, thanks for stopping by! I'm a freelance cinematographer and editor, but first and foremost, I consider myself a storyteller. That’s how I got into this business after all. 

 

I started my journey at Washington State University (GO COUGS!) and graduated with a B.A. in Communication, with an emphasis in Journalism & Media Production. I had always thought I’d be that cool guy with the great hair in front of the camera, reading the day’s headlines. However I quickly learned that I had more of a passion for being behind the camera, not in front of it. I wanted to see the world, meet more people, and tell their stories.

 

After spending some time in the reality television and commercial world, I was fortunate enough to land a job at a small marketing communication firm. I created videos for just about everything you could think of. Whether it was a campaign for a local private school, or a case study series traveling to large manufacturing plants spanning the globe, I was energized going into work everyday, having the opportunity to shed some light on stories these people were passionate about. 

 

Now, I’m on my own and loving every minute of it. Every initial call and meeting, brainstorm session, shoot and edit session is something different, and I get to meet work with some pretty amazing people. That could be you! Let’s chat!
